Landry's Seafood - Lake Charles

It's too dark in this restaurant, I understand wanting to create a cozy vibe during evening dining hours but in the daytime more lighting is needed. You can barely see what's in front of you or the food you're eating.

A very well managed (team)restaurant. felt welcomed, followed by an excellent service, attention to details, knowledgeable server. Management assures a first-class experience.

Great dinner for our evening arrival at the casino. This location is more casual than other Landry's restaurants, which is perfect for this resort. Food was great and we had excellent service. Good visit!

We had a reservation at 6:00. There were about 4 groups in line at the host stand. All were seated before us including parties of 2. We were told we had to sit at a large round table for 6(there were only 2 of us). Why was there not a table for 2 waiting for us since we had booked the reservation in advance? We felt very uncomfortable at such a large table and the waitperson seemed unhappy about it. Eye rolling and inpatient to the extent that I asked if they were ok. We ordered a dinner salad which we waited 20 minutes for and only received it after asking for it and a basket of bread. The dinner arrived right after the salad within a minute and no time to even take a bite of salad. Other tables were getting bread and salad even though they were seated after us. I dislike having to complain. This experience really did not make a positive impression.

Waiter was trying hard so no disrespect to him. But we live in Houston and eat the same restaurant there. The difference in quality of food from Houston to lake Charles is staggering. Why should we pay the same price for inferior food? #disappointing
