Boulangerie Bakery Cafe 2 - Lakewood

My go-to for birthday cakes. I love Asian cakes since they aren’t as sweet, but I’ve never had anything bad from here. Everything is delicious and prices are reasonable considering the quality and time that goes into making everything.

Was looking forward to visiting this bakery. They have a pretty solid assortment of pastries and cakes. I was very surprised to find that many of them are way too sweet, but not all of them. Prices are a little high.

The choices are pretty varied. Don't be fooled by a French name though; this is not a French bakery. That said, the couple of pastries we got from here were delicious!

Absolutely my favorite bakery in all of pierce county. I haven't visited them all yet, but I have been to quite a few and this one is hands down best of them all. Melon bread from Boulangerie is quite possibly the greatest thing ever created by human hands. If it were up to me it would be on the state flag. I would wear shoes made of melon bread. I would name my first born child melon bread if he wasn't already named after my grandfather before we discovered how good it is. I have officially changed my preferred method of exiting this world from dying in an explosion to death by melon bread.

Stopped by to pick out a cake for my anniversary and I will absolutely be returning for more soon. The cake was moist and delicious and the presentation was beautiful. The staff was kind and friendly (I walked through the wrong door upon entering, but was politely redirected). The cakes and pastries were laid out beautifully and everything looked almost too good to eat. Worth every penny!
