We had the 16 euro set menu which was value for money. My only gripe was that my main of fish pie had little fish in it. My husband had duck and said it was good. The decor is a bit dated. The rose wine was a bargain at 3 euros for half a caraff. A nice traditional French restaurant.
We went on Wed 14/6. We were the only people in the cafe, surprising as the food was good, if simple and also excellent value for money. Both of us sat facing the panoramic windows, with fantastic views over Lot Garonne. We could see for miles. The interior is slightly dated, with what I would term functional decor and furniture. On the night we visited, it closed at 20:30, which seems to be normal during the week . a bit early, I feel.
We were five without a Tuesday lunch reservation, but a table with a panoramic view was quickly found for us. The meal and the view were excellent, and the 12€ and 16€ lunch menus were just what we needed. Definitely a good place, and clearly popular with the locals.
5 minutes' from Aubiac (accommodation, but no restaurants). Simple, quiet, empty. Cold beer from the bar. Menu du jour, with options. Good value. Panoramic view of countryside.
