Contribuisci feedbackIt's nice to have this on campus, and the customer service is always very good. However the food quality is lacking. It seems every time I order something here it is missing important things. For instance, ordering an Avocado sandwich, I expect to have enough avocado on the sandwich to taste it, and not just enough to make the bagel slightly green. Another example is getting nova lox, the amount of cream cheese is always disappointing, to the point where I wonder why I spent $8 on a bagel. Again, the employees are super nice and helpful but it would be great to get something here that has the same quality as any other Einsteins Bagel shop.
Good, I mean it's Einstein Bagels so it's usually good. Cafeteria is clean.
The farmhouse breakfast sandwich rocks my world every. single. time.
Einstein’s has the best food and coffee on campus by far when it is consistent. Due to having dedicated money to spend on campus through our student accounts, my girlfriend and I are here about twice a week. Especially over the last few weeks, the quality has been very hit and miss. I’m used to expecting great food from Einstein’s so when the food is off it is especially disappointing. As a frequent visitor of Einstein’s, these have been the quality issues as of late…Hot sandwiches on occasion are COLD.Wrong food items. I understand that the supply chain is messed up right now, but that isn’t an excuse to lazily swap ingredients without telling the customers. 5 times over the last month, I have received the wrong cheese on my sandwich because they were out of the type that comes with on the menu. NONE OF THESE TIMES WAS I TOLD THAT MY ITEM WOULD BE RECEIVED DIFFERENTLY. When explicitly asking for the type of cheese that comes with the item as is on the menu, the staff admit that is comes on the menu that way and a substitution is made due to supply problems. This is not the only example of “secret” ingredient substitution I have run into this semester.Lastly, the thing that really disappointed me was that today my shake was very different than it normally was. I have worked in a shop previously that only sold custard shakes that took quality very seriously, so I know some about shakes. The shake I received today only filled 80% of the cup and had large chunks of ice all throughout it. I suspect, but could be wrong, that the shakes are normally made with ice cream and not ice. Whether or not one of Einstein’s signature secret substitutions was made or not, the shake was EXTREMELY under blended and chunks of ice were throughout. YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE TO CHEW A SHAKE.The above experiences led me be belive, rightfully or not, that the staff are either apathetic to the food quality or are not trained properly. The staff and or the people training the staff don’t care enough to solve known issues.TLDR; Einstein’s can have amazing food, but often the food is cold, or different than how you ordered it. The quality is extremely spotty.
This place needs someone over the age of 20 (or someone who acts like it) working there telling people how to do their job. I asked for a sesame bagel and they gave me a everything bagel and then argued with me they didn 't was the exact same thing because sesame seeds are one of the many things on an everything bagel. Like seriously? I can 't eat garlic, everything bagels are covered in it. I 've ordered sesame bagels from this place since summer of 2019 but they tried to then argue that they 've never carried them. Whole thing could 've been avoided if they had told me that they didn 't have sesame when I ordered sesame, but it was made worse by how they handled it after. Also they weren 't wearing masks and you have 4 people working with 2 of them just standing around.
