Sushi Madre - Laredo

The plate I got is over price for the quality of the meats. They need to train their cooks better and start serving better quality in each plate. A few months ago, I got a cilantro salmon plate that had a cooked fly in the meal. I guess the cook doesn't clean the flat grill after each meal he or she cooks. so wrong ?Food: 2/5

Simply WOW! I had my doubts because most sushi places only offer a variety of sushi, but this place is off the hook! Original choices like the poblano soup and fried crispy green beans are addicting, not to mention their delicious spring rolls and teppanyaki choices are excellent. Definitely worth trying, you will not be disappointed.Vegetarian options: Attention to detail. Made to order.Kid-friendliness: Very family oriented. Kids can be a kids, even the adults. Haha!Parking: In a shopping center but if their not that many spots, what can you expect, this place is good!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps located near the front entrance.Dietary restrictions: They cook their options exactly to your guidelines, so expect it the way you order it. No restrictions.

My meal a stir fry was sweet I wasn't expecting that The pasta wasn't low mein it was some angel hair pasta The server gave me looks when my husband and I didn't want a drink The server had a bad attitude The beef tasted over cooked and was tough Last time I was here they charges me a tip and when I asked if the tip was included they said no So they charged me the tip twice I'm not coming back here

Very impressed with the waiter. My husband and I asked him that we would be sharing our meal so he brought us our soup in two separate bowls but gave us two separate garnishings! He brought our main dish in two separate bowls and only charged us for one soup and one main dish! Food was absolutely delicious! We will definitely return to eat the exact same thing! The only reason I gave 4 stars out of five is that when we first arrived, it smelled as if they had mopped the floor with dirty water. We stayed anyway and I'm actually glad we did! The good definitely outweighed the smell, which our noses became noseblind after about 5 minutes!
