Yumm! Finally a REAL taco!. My husband and I are from Tucson AZ... We know Mexican food. We had basically given up on the being anything worth eating in this state. Turns out, this place has some al tacos! I had a chicken taco a steak taco. Husband had 3 of the steak/chorizo tacos... All are served 'the right way '... Onions cilantro with lime on side... In a fresh corn tortilla.... Chips are homemade and the green salsa was tasty too! It was also only $12 for the tacos, chips, a soda. Also, i have always said, that it is a good sign when you walk in and see mexicans in a mexican restaurant! no el paso taco bell junk here!! We will be back!
This place is awesome! The service is great! But it's the real deal, authentic Mexican food.
We have been looking for a good Mexican food for too long. Driven by LATYT inumerable times and I am kicking myself for not trying it sooner. If you want free endless chips and salsa, go somewhere else b/c that's not what this place is about. But if you want mom n pop Mex go ASAP. Don't let the modest decor send you out the door. Had the Chicken Fajitas. Delicious! Fresh pounded chicken breast with perfectly cooked peppers and onions, rice and refried beans. Good portion with hand made corn tortillas. Ask for green salsa and dig in.
It's like I went to Mexico without having to leave Largo. The dining area could stand to have a comb ran through it but don't let that deter you. The food is fresh, authentic and made mostly from scratch. $1.25 tacos are a steal! Very friendly, seemed like a small family operation. Waitress was friendly and spoke perfect English. Can't wait to bring friends back to this find.
