I would highly highly suggest trying the cornbread as an appetizer, the red curry sauce makes the sweet cornbread perfectly savory. The baked cauliflower was very tasty however if you are not afan of pomegranate or raisins this may not be for you and it is loaded up with them. For our main courses we has the Koreanribs, BBQ ribs and marys chicken. Both Ribs were delicious the Korean flavor being the favorite. The chicken however we had toreturn as it was so dry. Also need to note our waiter recommended we do one side per entre as they do not come with one, howeverfor 4 people 2 sides would have been more than enough as they are quite large. The mac and cheese was delicious and rich and thefries were good as well. Overall a good restaurant.
I've been to this physical location throughout the previous Michael Mina concepts so naturally it was time to check this one out. For starter we got the Korean BBQ bai buns and they were pretty good. We got the full ribs which was 2 orders of 5 and youcan choose 2 different sauces. It was enough food for 2 people. I liked the American BBQ sauce (classic, you know) and myhusband preferred the Korean BBQ sauce (because it's different). The Brussels sprouts were my favorite item of the night. Theribs were good but nothing special. I've definitely had better and also worse ribs before. Drinks were good. The cold smoke ontheir items are too fire-y in flavor for my preference. I felt like I was tasting burning grass rather than smoke. I would tryand limit the number of smoked items you order otherwise it becomes pretty overwhelming. The service was top notch and I'm stillglad I came though it may not make the list for a repeat visit.
International Smoke is a great bbq joint. The food was great and their corn bread is definitely worth it. If you just go there for the corn bread, I wouldn't blame you. We got a bowl of Mac Cheese which was good enough as main if you're not incrediblyhungry. We also got a half rack of Vietnamese Lemongrass which was delicious. It was fall-off-the-bone tender. The highlight wasdefinitely the corn bread. It was moist and the curry sauce worked excellently. I recommend this to anyone who wants somedelicious food for affordable prices.
Restaurant is located inside the MGM Grand. Note The restroom is located across the hallway outside of the restaurant in the common area. We went to the restaurant because of Mrs. Curry and to support a woman entrepreneur and did not read the reviews????. We were disappointed ???? and recommend eating elsewhere. The salmon as you see in the picture was dry, hard and had noflavor. The two very very miniature potatoes were cut in half and served partially cooked. The sauce on the plate was anafter thought and did not add any flavor to this dish. The cornbread was dry and the flavor was different and not tasty. Thechocolate molten cake is an acquired taste. The drinks were tasty. Unsure the reasoning for a drink in a Spam container????For the most part all of our food was left on the table. Service was great and wish the food was the same. Do not waste yourmoney or time when there are so many restaurants to eat in Vegas.
Attentive and prompt service. Delicious food. Yet the flavors were not extraordinary, they were subtle. I had the cornbread and fried chicken appetizers to start. I followed this with the half rack of pork ribs and Mac and Cheese with bbq rib tips for myside dish. The cornbread are like cup cakes, not dry. The fried chicken app was tasty and plentiful. The ribs were meaty, yetthe flavor I chose barely seemed to be present. The Mac and cheese was okay, but I probably would go for another fried chickensmall plate instead. Overall, I spent $95 that includes the 20% tip. I would go again, yet I would do it to try a signaturedish and dessert.
