Glebe Gardens - Launceston

We called in for quick lunch and I had beautiful soup and my husband had scones, with homemade raspberry jam and cream. Very reasonable priced. We would've liked to spend longer but it was raining.

We were impressed with Glebe Gardens and Café. We started off with some coffee and freshly made scones from the café. The staff were very friendly and chatty, and the food was great. Next was a wander around the gardens which are much bigger than we expected. There are various sections to the gardens each with a different theme or style. We finished off in the gift shop and were impressed with the range of items for sale and mainly at affordable prices. We enjoyed our morning.

This is a true paradise for people to look for ornaments, pots, statues and other gifts. The staff were very friendly and obliging. Although I could not find a large pot ornament, I finally settled for a butterfly entanglement to grace our stone walls. This place certainly is worth a visit.

Very nice venue in the middle of a large plant nursery. Seems to be dog friendly. The staff were very friendly and helpful and all the pies and deserts are made in house. Lovely venue for a casual lunch, morning tea or coffee to recharge. Wide selection of plants, gifts, pots, statues etc. definitely worth a visit

What a beautiful place. its well set out and has every thing for all your garden needs. there is a gift shop which I recommended to see. after you walk around this amazing nursery I suggest you go to the café or sit in the fernery. worth visiting
