Contribuisci feedbackWe ordered vegetarian sushi and rice with chicken. The sushi was ok (the smallest part I've ever seen), but the rice was unbeatable because it was full of onion. We asked the waiter to quit, but he just said I'm sorry, took the full plate back and gave us for it. No one speaks English in this place
This was the most expensive Shushi we had in all the cities and we were here, and it wasn't the best... The waiter was lost, as there were only three tables. Good ideas in the menu, but the prices are just too much, much improvement needed here!
With high expectations after reading all the other reviews, maybe this was the problem as the sushi was below average compared to the price, the roles were with little variety between the options on the menu. If you want an OK Sushi experience, this place is perfectly just not expecting something special.
I went to El Sushi de Holbox for lunch and ordered a tuna and salmon roll. I sat somewhat close to the kitchen area and as I was the only patron at that time, I noticed the 'chef ' pull packages out of the freezer and then was surprised to hear the microwave. The outside of the tuna was burned and brown by the microwave defrosting the fish. EWWWW. I ate it. I was hungry. But would never consider going back there.
The sushi was too expensive for the quality. All of the sushi rolls fell apart and it was not the best sushi we’ve ever had if it comes to the taste. We noticed that every roll had a light taste of ginger and we are not the biggest fans of ginger. The service was really great.
