Family of 4 traveling with 2 teenage daughters. We stayed next door at Dream Hotel, and either ate or drank at La Palapa del Mar ALL five days of our time on Holbox. While the service was average for Holbox (slow down!), Osmar took great care of us whether it was lunch, snacks, dinner or just drinks. I absolutely loved this laid-back bar located right on the beach. Prices are fair, and I'd still be sitting there right now if could. Say hola to their cute dogs, and enjoy a cerveza in the breeze.

Muy buen restaurant a la orilla de la playa. Meseros muy amables. Música en vivo. Buenos platillos. Ceviche es excelente y pescado zarandeado. Buenos precios. La vista excelente.

The hotel environment is super nice. Everybody is incredibly kind and helpful. The only reason why I give it three stars is because the bed sheets were always pretty much wet due to humidity, the shower didn't warm up enough, and the wifi was not good. Other than that, it's super relaxing and people here are super nice and helpful!

Good variety of food! We both had Mexican beers and wonderful local dishes! Yummy food and courteous staff. Kick your shoes off and enjoy your dinner like a local.
