Feels like a family place. Not for kids, but regulars who know each other. My wife and I were greeted warmly by the owner/barkeep, Mike, I think. He came to the table later to say hi and offer more beer. The crowd was very friendly and relaxed, and we both felt that we'd be welcome again.
This is a great place to hit on your way home from work. Just a collection of regulars who you can imagine are shouting each other's names as they walk in; ice cold domestic beers in a bottle; excellent prices; no frills atmosphere; friendly staff. It's a little bigger inside than it looks from the outside. Set up for poker nights.
I originally saw this place while I was on vacation looking for houses. It's the tiniest little bar I ever did see. I was going to be very unhappy if I did not get to go here before I left. Tiny lil And I mean tiny lil place… Not my favorite spot prolly won't ever go back… Owner/operator was a nice enough fella… Just can't see spending any more money in a place that the bare minimal is good enough… Love the old town feel but I'll leave that too the old timers! Lol
Good prices, excellent service, it's a strictly beer and chips place, and the jukebox is just country and rock, but overall a good place to have a Budweiser and watch football
