This was always one of my favorite fast food recipes. I was very happy about how friendly the staff was.
I visited a bite on a Saturday afternoon on my way to the west. The banner outside advertises a renovated dining area, and from what I saw the changes seem positive. The interior looks both clean and unrestricted. The furniture looks new and more modern, while I kept the wooden motif I remember from previous experiences. The variety of two- and four-top tables, stands and a common table, where I sat facing the line television, offers enough seating for most party sizes. The staff seems to have a good energy, and I became of the nice woman, the orders (Monica, I think). When I remembered the memories of eating this fast food in Maryland, I decided that I wanted the taste of my favorites: roasted chicken and roast beef. The large Brat-Rind-Sandwich combination with frits and a three-part order of chicken teeth fits well into the bill. My meal lasted just a few minutes to be ready, and the bar of the fixine mostly came through familiar grill sauce, crisp and green salad, ripe tomato slices and small onion rings good for a sandwich. I enjoyed the familiar aromas of both the Bratbeef and the chicken season. The Bratbeef has a fresher taste than other offers, and the chicken itself tasted fine. The frits had good texture and taste, and none of my food tasted too salty. My only negative was the temperature of the food, as all room temperature seemed too cold. I would normally expect the roast beef to be warm and the offers and frits are warm to hot. Proper food temperature would have my hold near five stars for a fast service eater. My bill was close to $20 including taxes (both state and city in this case). I felt I had a decent value for my purchase and would come back to this place. I'm happy to eat at Roy Rogers when I'm next in the area of one and hopefully get the food I like at the temperature I like.
Drove 25min. Out of the way. It was full and had to wait a few minutes for my food. It was worth it and I'll do the same tomorrow. I love Roys Bratbeef with cheese. They closed in NJ, so if I'm out of town, I'm trying to find them. It was clean, the employees were nice and worked their butt.
Great place to come and sit down to enjoy some good burgers and great fried chicken you can even hook it up at the fixing bar
