My dining experience at this restaurant was top-notch. The price per person falls in the $20-30 range, which is reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. Speaking of which, both the food and service receive a perfect 5 rating. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also excellent, earning another 5 rating. I highly recommend trying the Mahi Mahi and Delmonico Steak dishes when you visit.
Service, atmosphere, and recommended dishes all receive a perfect score of 5 at this restaurant. One dish to try is the Broiled Tilapia.
I wouldn't recommend this place unless you have 3-4 hours to kill and don't mind sitting in a dimly lit restaurant. I will start with the good. The food for most of our party was good. Ham steaks fill an entire plate and are grilled. Lobster bisque is ok. Broiled mahi mahi was good. Some in our party did like their crab cake meal. The bad is a much longer list. We had reservations for 6 and a party of 10. We had a new waitress, which is fine, but she wasn't given a drink menu or beer list, and there wasn't any on the table. Every time someone asked about a mixed drink or a non-miller lite or budweiser product, the poor girl had to run to the bar to ask. We ordered wings as an appetizer and soups. Some had the salad bar. Soups came out 1.5 hours later, and 2 of the 4 were cold. Wings were ordered extra crispy and mild. They came out at 8:20 or so and were perfectly crispy but had zero sauce on them. Certainly mild, I guess. Our food finally arrived at 8:35 or so. I ordered the crab cake sandwich, which was supposed to come with fries. I never got the fries. The crabcake I didn't like. Fell apart too easily and tasted more fishy than crabby. Like I said before, the others did like the baked crab cake in a boat. Might just have been how it was cooked. One person in our group ordered a medium rare burger, and it was cooked so hard and dry. It just fell apart. We were told that if we didn't want to wait, we should come eat at 4:30 or so because it's less busy. They only apologized after we were done eating and said it was the time we came, that was the problem. The owner behind the bar never came over to say anything while we sat there waiting for food for 2.5 hours. They even had the gall to ask if we wanted desert . I have been to plenty of busy restaurants and it didn't take this long. Not to mention, it really wasn't that busy. They had open tables in the whole place. I'd hate to see what it's like if every table gets full. Price per person: $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
