VERY unsatisfactory. The waitstaff were unfriendly. They charge way too much per person. It's a filthy place. I will not recommend this place to anyone. A friend of mine used to work at this horrible catering hall and he told me that the owners are very obnoxious and rude, karma will get to them.
Pricey food, dirty pitchers, awful service, and nasty waitstaff. Avoid this place like the plague.
The Riviera Waterfront Mansion. So much goes into planning your big day. With Riviera you have someone on your side that can help you every step of the way. Irene and Tara were so helpful throughout the entire process. The day turned out beautifully. They are a well-oiled machine that makes the day flow easily and calmly. The grounds are beautiful and the staff were great to work with. So many guests complimented the food and were surprised with the abundance of it. They readily accommodated special requests that made our day unique and special. The venue itself is unique in that it has a beautiful, well-manicured outdoor panoramic water view for cocktail hour and ceremony, but then has a warm rustic feel inside with exposed wood beams and high ceilings. Just lovely! Unfortunately, we had an officiant emergency the night before the wedding. It had nothing to do with the Riviera, but I called Irene for help. She made it her mission to help us out so we were prepared for the next day. You find out the quality of the people you are dealing with when an emergency comes up. They went above and beyond. At the end of a great night I left there feeling like I made a new group of friends! Great Venue!
Overall was happy how the day went. They do charge for every little thing so if you like this venue for all the beautiful photo ops, beware that to get to the venue beforehand and utilize the grounds for pictures they'll nickle and dime you. We got great discounts on stuff thrown in when we originally booked in 2019 but dealing with them once they reopened after covid they are much more sales focused. The cost on the exit station we wanted went up without them telling us, they didn't send us home with extra meals for the 3 people who had to cancel last minute and they changed the indoor ceremony option without notifiying us (which really upset me bc I didn't find out til our final meeting but luckily the weather wound up being perfect). They did mess up my ceremony so if you have your ceremony at the venue beware. I went over the details numerous times with Irene and Tara and yet they still managed to mess it up. At end of day I brushed it off since everything else was perfect but I am definitely annoyed at paying for my ceremony to be there when they really messed up the order and placement. My bridal attendant was great though, wish I remembered her name but such a sweetheart and was great with my bustle and always making sure I had a drink in hand. They set up all my decor exactly how I requested and were easy to communicate with during the past few months leading up to our day. We did receive a lot of great feedback from our guests as well on how everything was run and even about how great their waitstaff was.
