A party of 4 of us had the pleasure of visiting the Slug and Lettuce, Romford on Sat 2 Feb 1.30. From the moment we walked through the doors we were made to feel welcome. I had reserved a table and was shown to...a booth, which was brilliant. The bar staff are so professional and friendly even advising a friend of mine with their meal! we will certainty be returning! just to add everywhere was spotlessly clean.

The Slug and Lettuce, St Mary Axe is a restaurant serving brunch, before 12 noon, snacks, small meals before 4pm and after 4pm. a larger selection of small plates, sharing boards, main meals, burgers, sides and desserts. The prices are very reasonable. There is a...full bar serving most drinks. There is very pleasant seating under quaint low lighting. In the afternoon the restaurant is not too crowded. Lunch is from £6 on Monday to Friday. Vegetarian options available. A Bottle of prosecco wine is available for £12 on a Wednesday.

Great place to chill out in very airy and has a garden in the back and seating outside. Also good music in the eve for dancing with a few drinks

Arrive on bank holiday mon approx 4.30 . Found out mondays is 50% off all food. Woohoo ! Even though it was a bank hoilday , drinks arrived very quickly by the lovely Kiera and stater arrived soon after. Mains arrived hot and well cooked....Nice astmosphere . Good menu of food would definelty be back ..
