Meriwether's Bistro - Lewiston

We had a wide array of food and everything was great. I don't think it matters what you order here, you're going to like it :

Met by an overwhelmed server who struggled to follow up with our table during the meal. Food arrived lukewarm (at best) and crusty like it was left sitting out for too long. For the price, our “angus beef dip” was a small portion of sad-looking deli meat slapped onto a crusty hoagie… no cougar gold cheese to be found (although included in description of the sandwich)… and the au juice carried the team because it was at least warm and softened the sandwich back up. FYI, when prompted as to what kind of cheese you’d like on a burger, there is an up charge for cougar gold although TBD whether it made it on the burger or not… as well as $2 sliver of avocado and $2 Canadian bacon. Overall the food left a lot to be desired and we walked out pretty underwhelmed… and thirsty because our server forgot that nearly 30 minutes before she said she’d be back to offer us beverages.

First instead of eating at the restaurant we were asked to eat at the bar. Thankfully it was warm outside, because the music was loud pop music and not good for a dining experience. Food tasted ok, serving sizes were small for the price that was spent on each meal. I understand food costs go up, but raising prices and lessening the amount do one or the other, not both. Was told a salad came with my meal, then was told it didn't, just bread, then bread didn't come, and was told it didn't come with bread either. They were out of root beer so had to find something else to drink too. Big disappointment tonight for dinner.

Got the special, ny steak with potato and green beans, meat was tough and flavorless. Another patron stated that his tasted rotten. There was only one employee which was terrible for customers! Food did not make it worth the wait, js.

Waitress allowed two very loud drunken women in the middle of the day to continue thier drinking in the food dinning part of the restaurant. And wouldn't tell them to quiet it down. We were having coffee ready to order. Then decided not to because the 2 ignorant drunks just kept getting louder.
