Rotisserie Ebal

I tried this place because I work in the area. I had previously checked the reviews and it left me puzzled so I decided to try it myself. It says it's a mixed of African cuisine and portuguese. First thing when i walked in, i noticed the place was very clean. Nobody greated me, nothing surprising with black business when you're a black customer (we need to improve on our customer service skills by the way) There was a man at the cash, he was very nice (not african). Now let's go to the food part. I ordered a half chicken with alloco (fried plantain). Now, the chicken was good I can't lie. And they gave alot. BUT, that's SO NOT portuguese chicken like... what are y'all doing! I'd rather you call it african chicken and it'll be all fine. Just the fact y'all call it portuguese and its clearly not, it makes it taste bad because thats not the taste we're expecting. Also, the alloco were not that great. They were warm but it wasn't like fresh out the oil. I'm from the islands (carribean) we do plantain as well and that's not how we like it. Also, us, we eat with some sort of gravy or some that we can dip in. The whole meal was dry overall because the way the alloco tasted they needed gravy to be acceptable. That's why overall im giving 3*. Food was okay but not great. Will i go again? Yes, maybe just to see if it was a bad day but at this point, i wouldn't precisely recommend that place.

The chicken marinade (jerk) was very tasty and tender but was cold!! We were not served water at all, we had to ask for it. We were not even welcomed at our tables, I had to pick up the menu myself from the counter. We were previously told the restaurant closes at 9:00 which is not the case because of the extremely slow service, and out food that took forever to preparw; we were still there passed 9:45 and more ppl were coming in . We came to this place only to get the Duck but they were out of it. Then we asked for goat and they didn't have it either. Then we asked for rabbit and we asked how long it will take , they said 20 to 30 minutes Max. It took ONE HOUR AND 15 MINUTES. Then they forgot to serve it with fries and salad. We didn't have enough glasses for the number of people around the table, that too we had to ask for it. We were there as a family but we each ate at different times. I'm extremely disappointed and sadly, I will never go back. I wish them good anyway and I wish they can improve their service.

Unfortunately terrible!We ordered take out soujouk, tabouleh, fattouch and a mix platter. Tabouleh was simply cut parsley, fattouch is indulged with red wine vinegar, sawgy salad with cucumber. And the mix platter kebabs were very dry!! There are many many other options in the area for tasty and well presented Mediterranean food.

The worst place and meal i had in my life...i ordered a mix of stuff ...all of them where discusting .

Tried to order a late lunch delivered in VSL, only 5 km away like 10 minute drive. Lady had to check asked me to call back. I called back she refused my delivery. Phone service terrible lady pretty confused, basically telling me what I should order if I wanted a delivery. By the end of the conversation she tells me the delivery guy did not show up for work anyways. Complete waste of time.
