Our small group chose this restaurant for the having a dinner in a historic location. We were early and the place was empty. The menu had a large choice of dishes (schnitzel, porc, beef, noodles, etc), but the waitress could not make a recommendation for...which the place was famous for. The porc medallions and beef filet were selected. The dishes were served timely, but the presentation was below average. All meat was covered by and was swimming in a sauce with a Maggi or Knorr signature. The potato gratin was far too long in the oven and was dry. The few vegetables were just boiled and lacked all seasoning. Same for the boiled potatoes that were thrown on the plate and covered with the same tasteless sauce.The link with 'hospital '-food could easily be made. The dessert list is very limited and having the main dish experience we skipped dessert. Finally after 2.5 hrs we could pay the bill due to only 1 waittress for a full place (restaurant and bar).

Were part of a group for dinner. Service was great, efficient and friendly. The food was flavoursome and of a great variety. The snails, although small were pretty damn good......if you've never tried them, this would be a good place to do so. Would recommend...this restaurant to all.
