Kitchen Express - Little Rock

I had the small fish plate(2 pieces) with 2 sides, white rice with brown engraving and candied yams. I also have 2 little peach baskets. that was my first time here in ca. 7 years and everything was just as good as 7 years back. many thanks for their continued business in the community. I came all the way from jacksonville to get me a plate, and it was worth the ride and every dime I spent, I will definitely be back.

If they love soul food like me, then this is the place for them if they have never tried, then this is the place for them to eat their best and their dessert is also wonderful next time you fall past this area and try them some wonderful and their wonderful coworkers.

I was a bit careful here because of the last reviews, but I said the people think the food has a lot to do with there taste palette. the last time I ate here was about 8 years ago and I have to say I love everything I have. the fish was big and really fleshy I could eat only one and had rest on my teller. everything was well spiced, the green beans were a bit salty, but they were still good. the chicken, ripen, fish, mac n cheese, yams, mais, greens and kartoffelsalat was all well recommended in any case. the price is great and the portion size is even better!

Good home cooking and real nice folks, plan to go back soon and try some of the other choices. I had the catfish with cabbage, pinto beans, cornbread and banana pudding. Highly recommend!
