Floors were greasy. Menus were ratty. Food was bad. We ordered Chinese dishes. The egg rolls were hot and fresh, but one of the entrees was barely warm and seemed like it had been reheated. The bell pepper in the kung pao was squishy. The lo mein was decent. The salmon avocado sushi roll was disturbingly warm. The restaurant interior was somewhat recently new, but is beginning to show its age and isn't being kept up. I would definitely not return.
Our waitress Lynn is and always has been absolutely amazing! Not only to us but to our 6 year old daughter. We always look forward to seeing Lynn. The good is excellent too!Food: 5/5
Our party of 4pp was running 15-minute late. I called the restaurant and spoke with gentleman who was helpful and understanding of the storm in the area and confirmed to me that would not be a problem for our reservation being at 6:45pm instead of 6:30pm. When we arrived at the restaurant, our friends were sat and were being harassed by the host about the remaining of the party between 6:35pm and our arrival at 6:45pm making everyone nervous. If that was not enough, when the four of us were there sitting at a hibachi table, she had us moving twice and having all of us squeezed next to each other for another party which actually chose to wait longer as they also did not want to be sitting within such small area. We had our dinner, the chef was fun but forgot one of the meats of our order which we had to wait to be done in the kitchen. Lastly, the hostess, again, asked us to move to a booth because she had a 18pp party arriving and wanted our seats. It felt like she was doing us all a favor and zero consideration towards us as paying customers! We loved the food (very flavorful and responsible for this review having any stars) but the customer service did a good job on preventing us from ever coming back.
For the high price, this is the most average Chinese food I’ve ever had. My pad Thai claims it’s spicy, but it was practically flavorless. I will say the quantity was good, but I had to add Sriracha I had at home to create any type of flavor. My partner got general Tsos chicken and for $19 he got steamed broccoli and chicken on top. No rice? Was pretty let down especially after spending $40 for two meals. I’m hoping it was just an off day.
