A Tavola Italian Deli - Liverpool

I have visited A Tavola numerous times since my last review in 2020, and I felt it was time to write another one. Our visits in 2023 have been the busiest yet, as the experience just keeps improving. A Tavola, managed by the fantastic Maria and her team, truly brings a piece of Italy to Liverpool. The freshly cooked food, desserts, and wines are exceptional, and you can even purchase them from the deli. The food and staff create a perfect atmosphere for any occasion, making you feel like part of their Italian family. They also offer Masterclass cookery schools. Thank you for a wonderful 2023 and another great last-minute visit last night. Highly recommended.

This hidden gem in Liverpool is a favorite among locals. The Italian cuisine is top-notch, with Maria, the fantastic owner, always ensuring that everything is perfect. If you're looking for authentic Neapolitan and Italian cuisine, this is the place to go.

Went for dinner with friends, drinks were great sadly food and service didn’t meet expectations. As there were two vegans in the group they were made to feel like an inconvenience from the outset when the manager said that this will be difficult when we ordered. They had a vegan menu but the get this from another restaurant which we weren’t made aware of. Food took a long time to come. No communication, slow to take drinks orders. When vegan food did arrive it contained fish, owners still expected us to pay for this meal. Didn’t ask for any allergies. Manager didn’t understand what vegan diet was. I wouldn’t recommend.

This is a small but very high quality Bistro/restaurant. Highly professional and attentive staff. Maria (the boss) is a wonderful host it is a must visit restaurant in Liverpool
