Cross Keys - Liverpool

During my stay at the Radisson hotel in Liverpool, I visited The Cross Keys located just around the corner. The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond to accommodate us, especially Neil who helped arrange a table for us. My only drawback is that The Cross Keys is not local to our home in Somerset. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend stopping by to experience the unique atmosphere of this pub, which stands out amongst the modern buildings.

The Cross Keys on Earle street is an excellent pub in the city centre that offers a fantastic food and drinks range.A very historic pub with many item's adorning the walls of Liverpools old boxing arena on St Paul's and many other interesting fixtures in this superb pub. The Cross Keys is one of those pubs that we have visited hundreds of times as there cask ale range is fantastic but on this occasion due to no fault of the pub they hadn't any cask ale on and so when we visited we opted to have a Guinness. The Guinness was excellent and well priced and I can honestly say as good a Guinness as any Irish pub I have visited in the city centre. The Cross Keys is a fantastic pub and it's good to see it open again and we will visit again in the not to distant future. Very easy to locate from Edmund Street bus stop you walk along Edmund street and turn left onto Earle street .(This is my second review of the Cross Keys). Opening Hours. Monday-11.00-22.00. Was a regular at this pub between 1985 2007 when working in Liverpool. First time back since 2007 under very different circumstances. A pub in the finincial sector of the city, not very busy but the staff were friendly. Just the one before moving off. I think this would be a busy pub under normal circumstances.

The Cross Keys Is An Historic Old Pub And Is Without Doubt One Of The Best Real Ale Pubs In Liverpool City Centre.This Pub Is A Bit Out Of The Way But Well Worth Visiting As They Offer A Fantastic Food And Drinks Menu In Comfortable Surroundings.This Is A Fairly Big Pub With An Open-Plan Interior With Many Interesting Fixtures That Relate To The Beatles And John Lennon And Is A Great Place To Watch Live Sport.There Are Great Seating Options And A Patio Area Is Located Up A Spiral Staircase With Superb Seating Options.This Is A Classic Old Back Street Boozer With Bags Of Character And When We Visited We Were The First Ones In Here'We Gave Our Details For The Track And Trace And Entered The Pub.This Is My First Visit To The Cross Keys For Well Over A Year And Bar For The Signs And Displays For The Coronaviris Everything Was How It Was The Last Time I Visited.We Sat In The Main Room Of The Pub And Ordered From One Of The Friendly Staff Members A Few Glasses Of Wainwrights Brewery Pale Ales Which Were Excellent And Price Wise On A Par With Other Pubs And Bars In This Area Of The City Centre.This Is A Fantastic Pub And One Of A Dying Breed Of Pubs That In My Opinion Can Be Truly Classed As Back Street Boozers And One Well Worth Going To.Fairly Easy To Locate From Moorfields Train Station You Turn Right On Moorfields Then Left Onto Tithebarn Street And Then A Right Bixteth Street Then A Left Turn On Edmund Street And Right Onto Earle Street A Couple Of Minutes Walk.(This Is My First Review Of The Cross Keys).
