You get the feeling this is a chain store which has grown tired of providing a service to a paying public. And that is what it is. The shelves are half empty, some stock nearing sell by dates, staff reluctant to help. The cafe in particular was strewn with the evidence of previous diners, pots, cutlery and leftover food just everywhere you looked. Better garden centres to had elsewhere. Avoid
The quality in the cafe seems to have gone downhill in the last few years.
Went last week with the Mrs for a mootch and afternoon tea. It was nice and moderately priced. It is dog friendly so we wish we would have taken the dog. Lots of variety from plants, bbqs, board games, fresh produce, frozen meals, deli items, fish, sheds, clothing and much more. The brands they sell tend to be the higher priced items. The BBQ's for example aren't cheap but look like they will stand the test of time. The aquatics part it great. Lots of tropical fish and they also have Axolotl's! I told my son and he wanted to go and see them yesterday. Free parking. Spacious bays and always seem to be able to get a space close to the entrance
We came for the food. It was atrocious. Dry, overcooked, and lukewarm all at the same time. Found it inedible. Greggs would have offered better quality and service for a fraction of the cost. Even the cake was dry on one side. Please consider domes.
