Skaus - Liverpool

We adore this restaurant and come here often for our coffee fix and delicious bread they offer. The focaccia is absolutely delicious. The meat pies are also outstanding. We have not had a full meal here yet, but whenever we stop in for coffee, the food that we see being served looks incredible!

Had the sodabrot with chopped eggs, hollandaise and smoked makrele to breakfast. I couldn't fail. Eier were perfect. all the elements added well and were nicely proportional. only suggestion: maybe a few alternative toast options? the sodabrot was hearty and perhaps filled too tight for some.

Skuas has become my coffee shop every day. by the staff who are a friendly super professional team. the chefs who make so many super delicious dishes. up to the simple things like a bacon sandwich, but so. so good! they sell a large selection of high quality broths to take away as sourded. but my favorite is the coffee when they milk free milk ~ they use a clean filler sugar free healthy milk from the rude health that tastes so good! Why people still drink in all mainstream coffee shops and think their alpro milk are better disturbing, they are full of harmful toxic fillers and loaded with sugar! that must be one of the healthiest quietest caffes in liverpool. if they take care of what you consume, they give this place a try!

Went today. Two beef scouse one with beetroot the other pickled cabbage. Extremely tasty and filling. Definitely value for money. Will definitely be back.

The place is lovely, I’ll start by saying that. I ordered a coffee which was came in a cup with no handle. The cup was really warm and I was unable to pick it up until it was cold. I also have a hidden disability...that means my grip isn’t the best so I had to hold the cup tight with both hands. The option of a mug would be better
