I had dinner here for a birthday. I 'm not from Livorno and I didn 't know the place. Welcoming environment, large fireplace for the meat, excellent, especially the sliced beef, cooked just right and tasty. Another positive point, in my opinion, is the starter. Rich in vegetables, but especially the grilled peppers... delicious! I love them. They were very much appreciated by everyone. Service: Dine in

I am writing this review very saddened by the bill and how they treated us. There were 4 of us and we took a platter and a second course of grilled mix without even showing the menu). The appetizer as shown in the photo) was average, it's a shame that for 4 crostini, 4 slices of salami, 4 slices of ham and 4 triangles of cheese they charged us €52!!!! The second course €18 each) was honest, even if the beef was very tough and the portion was a little small. At the time of the bill, when asked for explanations, after having paid, perhaps the owner responded rudely, assuming that we had not understood the quality of the starter. The one star review is mostly for how they treated customers, a little understanding and empathy was enough to close the matter. I'm sorry to write this but if respect for customers has to be this then, I hope no one comes in anymore. Never to be repeated again.
