We went here for a wedding breakfast and evening entertainment this weekend and I have to say it was absolutely beautiful. The staff were helpful, polite, efficient and were a credit to the venue. The location is stunning with beautiful views over the beacons and a fantastic terrace in the rear. The wedding breakfast was absolutely lovely and well deserving of its AA status. The beef I had actually came out pink and was not cooked within an inch of its life as with a lot of places, full of flavour and accompanied by some very tasty vegetables. The desert was perfect and everything came out piping hot. The function was room was the perfect size with nice smaller bars if you wanted a moment away from the music and dancing. All tastefully decorated in accordance with the venue. The one gripe I had was some pricing. I understand that the drinks are going to be a bit more expensive when you are at a wedding. However when the bar staff are pouring lemonade from a coop lemonade bottle with a retail value of about a quid it kind of smarts when you're paying £1.20 for a dash of it in your vodka. Other than that though a lovely venue, great staff, food and setting. One of the best weddings I've gone too and definitely one of the best wedding breakfasts.
