Despite promoting itself as an unforgettable culinary experience on their website, we found the dishes to be significantly mediocre considering the high prices. However, the staff were very friendly and efficient.
The staff and atmosphere were excellent, but the food was mediocre, making it difficult to justify the prices. I would suggest coming here for drinks at the bar rather than for dinner.
The food and drinks at this restaurant were excellent, and the service was friendly. We enjoyed the ambiance, and the waitress made sure to point out their specials. My friend and I left feeling full and happy.
We booked the special menu for £25 £30 for 2 or 3 courses including a mohito. The waitress didn’t tell us that the mohito was included when we sat down so we ordered some other drinks and it wasn’t until I asked if a drink was included that she volunteered this information . We therefore had it at the end of the meal which wasn’t ideal . We also had to ask for our wine to be topped up . The food itself was very nice but one of the dishes didn’t come out until the rest of us had nearly finished . After complaining very nicely about this to our waitress the manager cane o we and apologised and offered us 2 free desserts . The bill when it came included a 15% service charge so I changed it to 10% which I would only normally if the service had been good. Service was ok but not perfect . The waitress was very nice but maybe needed to be a bit more attentive and should have advised us about our free drink when we sat down . The food was good , it was a good deal and nice surroundings so I would go back again .
Very tasty but also imaginative food. A group of four of us turned up a full hour before the allotted booking on the off chance we could be squeezed in late Saturday afternoon. Yes of course, no problem i think it helped that our early pre theatre booking at 18:00 was clearly a busy time . Service was prompt and efficient. Open table offer was acknowledged and we went for the signature dishes. I was a little worried that the dishes would not feed hungry adults proved to be unfounded. The dishes were full of flavour, very sufficient size and came at a prompt pace. Tasting as it should be. A good wine recommendation from sommelier was selected, food can be spicy as well as many with subtle flavours. Cerviche, and the wasabi mash both great interesting flavours. No one could fault any of the dishes even our vegetarian friend who couldn 't do the signature meals enjoyed Pad thai and grazing food. Noisy, so not a place for quiet chat, lots of pre theatre girlie groups loading up on bubbles and mojitos all led to that much over used but in this case correct 'eclectic ' clientele. We were out just after two hours, having ate more than we expected, thoroughly enjoying the food, surprised that service was as prompt and efficient for what seems a very relaxed laid back setting. With the OT deal utilised a very fair price paid for theatre land on a busy saturday night. Its my third of fourth visit in 10 years reminder to self go more often !
