Really good. Awesome set of Tacos. The margaritas were really well made on the day :
There were 2 or 3 things that were very good... The Al Pastor Tacos and The Baja Fish Tacos. Would return to eat these. It prides itself on being based on Mexico City, but having been to Mexico City (and other places like Oaxaca can safely say this is not that far removed from Chiquitos type TexMex. The Sharer Dish of Sea Bream was Ok, not bad, but nothing better than Ok. Dessert was meh. (Mexico City...?? Where are the Churros? The Marquesitas? The flan? The Tres Leches? Just overpriced BS like passion fruit cheesecake and chocolate tart etc. In short: would come back and eat the Al Pastor Tacos Fish Tacos... Pass on nearly everything else.
My first time in a Mexican restaurant and I was not disappointed. I ordered the mushroom tacos which were sublime. Very, very tasty and I savoured every minute. I had a couple of Corona beers with meal which were served with the obligatory slice of lime. They have a large selection of tequilas on the drinks menu but these looked like being expensive at around £10 a shot for some, but I guess this down to import tax. That said, I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The service was really good too.
This is a lovely spot for enjoying Mexican cuisine. The food is quite delicious, but unfortunately, it feels overpriced for the portion sizes. Additionally, the margaritas are on the pricey side as well.
