I went past this place on the way to the park, and young, it looked great! came back after a movie at vue on Thursday night and it had some mozens in the bar area in the ground floor her restaurant is in the cellar). instead of sitting on a table, we decided to sit on a keg table next to the wine cellar and get a lot too ogle! we went and picked up a few pinxtos that were unfortunately not great. most people seemed to order cheese plates and iberica ham or cooked seafood tapas from bar and wine drink. the few pinxtos we were interested in were delicious, but it came in a decent size for £ 1.85 per stock! we also ordered a bilbao berria cocktail £10) while expensive, was really delicious! the decor and the atmosphere were amazing. the lighting is dimmed and there is a type of low-catter of paragliding. the service is not so fast, but it was unbearable! we had to ask them to drink over the iberica before they gave us the tapas menu! I think I want to come back to try the restaurant on the ground floor next time!
I met a friend for lunch and we wanted to meet at pret. pret was much too crowded because it was the lunchtime and I saw next door and saw bilbao berria had tables. I have often seen this restaurant and was happy to finally try it. food: for lunch they have pintos on the bar they can take and hold the sticks in a holder on their table together with order tapas from their menu. we ordered the following tapas: croquetas, tomatensalat, patatas bradvas, pimientos and the chorizo. everything was delicious and had a lot of taste. Drinks: we ordered two soft drinks. price: 32.06 gbp for two people who were appropriate. ambiente: the room is really beautiful and feels inviting. service: the service was friendly but not perfect. our waiter forgot a few things, but fortunately she gets back to work in the time we weren't too late, would I go back? yes. I would go back because it was good to eat and there are not many beautiful places in this neighbourhood.
This is a new discovery for me, as I rarely take the lower end of the regent street due to all the works that are running on it. this place is open in the last three months and pintxos has a place close to my heart, because I have been in san Sebastian/Donostia and bilbao and besides being just a great holiday that was eating great! bb looks new and is rustic modern and on two levels with the right bar and iberico ham carving near the main entrance. they make a relatiw small selection of pintxos, which is a scandal, because it must be at least twice as much and just a veggie option! so I had to order from the a la carte menu. the meat options were all from both menus delish or so that I told me, but the veggie a la carte options were far too rich. I was blown away. it wasn't pretty. but they have a lot of potential, the employees were mainly Spanish, friendly, fast and helpful. the bar looks great, good selection of cocktails £10 is quite expensive so they are better good, wee and only 2 types of beer. I wonder if she has pintxos size wein?. has potential, so I'll be back.
The atmosphere at this restaurant is very pleasant! The food is delicious and the wine selection is excellent.
