7seventy7 - Long Beach

This was my second time with a wonderful experience. Food and service was superb.

Great place—a real hidden gem in Long Beach. Can’t wait to try the Sunday brunch.

The experience was a seven course meal with open bar and champagne toast at midnight. There was a DJ and he was awesome. The wait staff was stretched very thin. But our waitress hustled as fast as she could. This restaurant has had great reviews for their food which is why I chose to go. I think the selections could have been better for that price. Overall we enjoyed ourselves but wasn’t exactly what I expected. Better planning on management’s part. They had problems from the instant that I walked in. I could hear the managers receiving complaints. They also lost a table of 10 halfway through the experience. I think it has a lot of potential but needs better planning and management.

The staff there are very nice a good place to go for drinks. I go to a lot of restaurants and have had much better food we went for brunch and overall as a group wasn’t a fan of the food. Dinner food may be better but after the brunch experience wouldn’t go back.

Food and Service were incredible. 2 suggestions. Add more wine selection to menu and spice up dining area a bit. Will definitely go back.
