I had the steak and lobster while my friend had the nasty eye. both were cooked to perfection. what covered the eating experience was the professional waiting staff. great setting and recording. To be honest, the whole experience on the queen mary was fantastic. we were over at night) we will definitely return.
We had the illusions of the passed package so that the menu was cut to three decisions. to the happiness was the steak good! the service was good. noise level was from the charts and all come from just one table next to us, so it would have been much worse if it was overcrowded. I think if they pay over $200 only for eating for three people, they should have a choice of everything on the menu.
Superb food. Went for seafood blackened swordfish steak (from “today’s catch” was as good as anything we have ever eaten. Huge portion, and excellent value at $32. Great ambience in iconic location. Wine overpriced, which was disappointing, so had water instead.
Spent the day on the Queen Mary with our teenage grandchildren. At the end after a couple of tours we stopped to have dinner. We got a great window table and the view was fantastic. Right from the start it was great. The wait staff was very attentive and helpful. We order some calamari and mussels. Very good and more than enough for the four of us. I ordered the tomato based clam chowder and a wedge salad. Both were fantastic. The fish soup is pricey but was a wow. The steak was great. Great place to go but plan on $50 plus per person without wine or desert. We will take guests there in the future. It help make for a great finish to an interesting day. Reservations are a must.
