I've already checked this facility once, and I give 5 out of 5 in juni we had out of the country guests and called for a reservation, but the answer machine said the box was full and I couldn't leave a message. later I called again, and the owner said it was a handy and he was gone from the restaurant and asked me to call back later what I did at what time he accepted our reservations. when we arrived, the place was closed. later I called again and the owner said that I would have kept up for a day that she routinely closed. last Friday, 4 of us had traveled to longview for dinner and arrived at the evening dinner in haywire at 18 o'clock, but the owner told us that they were closed. no explanation. natives have told me that you never know whether the place is open or not, and they have stopped trying. only to say. do not count them on travel to this place and expect them to be open.
After dining at multiple restaurants in Longview, we were finally convinced to try Haywire based on a recommendation from our neighbor. We have now found our new favorite spot. The main attraction is definitely the food. The presentation of the steak and vegetables (instead of potatoes) was top-notch, and the variety and preparation were truly exceptional. It's hard to believe such world-class cuisine can be found in Longview! The owner, Joe, is also the chef and a charismatic personality. The restaurant is filled with art and western collectibles, with old western movies playing silently in the background. However, the real reason to visit Haywire is the food. Joe genuinely cares about each dish he serves and takes great pride in his culinary creations.
We were on the cowboy trail and saw this restaurant when we drove through longview. very friendly waiter greeted us and we both had the fish and chips that were very tasty. if they want to go through this part of the southern alberta, they should stop.
We ordered fish and chips. the chips are great. the fish was so childless. Maybe I'll try again just to be sure. Maybe it was a free day.
