The restaurant offers a wide variety of Mexican dishes, ranging from burritos to tortas.
I read about this restaurant in the LA Times and unfortunately, it won't be open for much longer. It's a shame because I have been a regular customer since the late 90s and have loved seeing it evolve over the years. I highly recommend visiting before it closes. They only accept cash, but it's definitely worth it.
It’s all good, but the salsa Roja is – bar none– the BEST salsa I have ever had in my life. My wife and I will be moving to the Philippines in a couple years. I really hope that I can talk the owners of El Gran burrito to give up their salsa recipe before we leave so that I can enjoy it on our little island.
I went today only to get greeted at the door and be informed they had permanently closed. I was a patron for as long as I can recall. I'll miss El Gran Burrito. Get out and support your local restaurants.
