Love this friendly family restaurant.Excellent service and food. Very clean!Staff are all excellent as is the owner.
The place was okay. Staff was very friendly and happy. Food was okay. Regular diner food.
Colossally disappointing. It looked the part of a quaint, small town family style restaurant, but the food fell well short.I was recommended to have a hot turkey which was on special. The gravy was indescribable and like no turkey gravy I 've ever had before. Had it been only that I 'd chock it up to a chef using the culinary equivalent of poetic license and getting a bit too adventurous. There was however 'alleged ' turkey on the plate that was as hard as a rock. It was near impossible to cut, much less eat. The only thing that hard on a turkey should be the bones.Service was polite and efficient but painfully unaware when I brought the matter to the attention of my server. Not being from Collingwood, I later learned there is a competitor just up the street that sources local ingredients and is legions above the Olde Red He in terms of food offerings. They 've got their work cut out for them but it is not beyond redemption and it all starts and stops with quality and taste of the food on offer.
It's was really good food for the price family atmosphere
