They come with an increase in cost, if you're comparing to the grocery store, but with this quality you should be comparing to a steakhouse... this is half the price.The first time we bought steaks from here, I literally caught them on fire and they were still incredible. Hoping for much better luck moving forward- can't even imagine what they taste like when you don't engulf them in flames.
Went in the afternoon and didnt realize they had a limited menu until 5p with only 2 sandwich options available. I paid $18.00 for a raspberry lemonade and a grilled cheese (no fries), and it was one of the worst grilled cheese sandwiches I 've ever had! Their food is not worth their prices.
Besides the butcher there is also a nice little rustic style restaurant at Red Hog. We made a reservation for noon and requested a low top table there are just a couple of them. Otherwise, all high tops with backless stools. I'm glad I did my research before taking a relative who would not have been able to sit at the high top table. The food was very good and service delightful. It was crowded so the noise level was a bit high. We placed our orders and were served promptly with a smile. There is also outside eating. Overall I would go again but after the lunch crowd.
Very good, but maybe not quite good enough for the price point. We had the pork chop, which was definitely enough for two and was good, though not so much better than what I could grill at home that I need another.The Brussels sprouts were amazing and the potatoes were pretty darn good. The pot de crème dessert was also ok.I’d go back and try something else. I may have been expecting too much.
Staff is exceptional. Been to the butcher shop twice and got waited on by Garrett in the restaurant. Great service each time.The restaurant's lack of individual table seating (mostly community tables) and abbreviated menu seem out of sync with the very high quality of the butcher shop. But again, the team members have always been wonderful.
