The gumbo bowl $12.99 was large and had just the right amount of burn. Shrimp étouffée $18.99 was tasty. Both dishes served with cornbread. Server Hope was attentive.
Jill was amazing! We came at an off time since we dined with a baby and toddler. She was answering phones working the bar and taking care of tables. She was so fun and attentive. Food was incredible ? and the best margarita I've had in a long time. Highly recommend!!Kid-friendliness: Cute kids coloring pages and high chairs
We made a reservation at 4 PM today for a party of 2 at 6 PM which was confirmed. When we got there at 5:45 we were told that there were no tables available.. Great customer service??? We recommend Scripted Bar and Kitchen across the street.
Normally I really love Betta Gumbo, but I was incredibly disappointed this weekend when we tried to go on Saturday at 2pm and they were completely closed. No sign, no hour change notice, nothing. Unfortunately, this is not the first time they have been closed during their listed business hours and I find that really unprofessional.
I’m from New Orleans, born and raised. This place ain’t it. I had the catfish. It was breaded nicely, but didn’t have any seasoning. The fries come with an apparent “Cajun seasoning” but it’s not right. More spice than flavor. The sweet tea is decent, but could be better. Mo Betta can Do Betta.
