Pros: Visually pleasing decor, good value for money with large portions, and a creative selection of sushi. Convenient location near the university area. Cons: Inconsistent garnishes on Nigiri, undercooked rice lacking vinegar flavor, and lack of sauce on the sushi. This seems to be a common issue with sushi restaurants in Sweden.
I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant and had a fantastic sushi experience. Unlike most sushi places in Sweden that can be a bit dull, the sushi here was exciting, experimental, and featured unique flavors that complemented each other well. The restaurant opened in April 2014, so it is relatively new, but it is already popular for good reason. The staff was friendly (though only to their colleagues) and they provided as much extra ginger as we wanted. The service was a bit slow, as there were only two people working, so it's best not to rush when dining here. With only two tables in the restaurant, it's advisable to make a reservation if you want to dine in. However, the tables are located near the door, so it can get a bit chilly. I would recommend taking the sushi to go or visiting in the summer for a more comfortable experience. Despite the cold, the interior design, plates, and lighting create a cozy atmosphere. And, most importantly, the food is excellent. I highly recommend trying out the sushi here!
Sushi with a little twist of creativity. Unusually large variety of seafood for a Swedish sushi bar. Very small locale though so plan for takeaway.
Really tasty food and friendly staff. Decent prices. 5 stars! For take aways unless you book one of the two tables in the place.
Whenever i crave sushi i come all the way from Malmö to Lund just to eat from this place .. cozy place, lovely people and most importantly delicious and fresh sushi..
