Essenza - Luxembourg

Absolutely quality! The older gentleman who served us (Gave my partner the pizza menu) you are absolutely phenomenal. You have an outstanding gift, ability to read the room and deliver exceptional service. Food was equally devine, we shared a seafood starter, followed by pasta and ravioli. My missus did not stop going on about how good the starter was. 100 percent recommend if you visit Luxembourg! Grazie!

We loved the food at Ristorante Essenza! They really surprised us! Giuseppe (the owner? was extemely nice! And from sicily! (Posted a pic with him! He treated us suuuper well and we’ll definitely come back. Listen to the recommendations of the house! We loved it! Price/food relation is incredible so really recommend coming here! We ate outside and loved seeing everyone pass by during a fantastic lux summer night.

Not the best Italian in Luxembourg. I hosted a team dinner there. Although I booked a month earlier they didn’t provide me with the requirements like a set menu etc.. I asked many times if they would send me the menu then they asked me to look for it online, which I did, share it with my team to take their pre orders and share it with the restaurant. The restaurant then replied to our food requirements/allergies as they are a restaurant, not a hospital. Long story short, the waiter had a runny nose which was amazing start. They placed us in a tiny room (we were around 20) which was super crowded and noisy for us. The food was super late, then they didn’t know how to charge us because we didn’t follow their set menu which they only shared with us a few days before the event. This restaurant might be good for a small group. But they definitely can’t manage a big group. The food is average. Update: The restaurant threatened me to share my emails and I just didn’t respond, so they did thinking I would delete my comment. This says a lot about the restaurant.

It great to expand the menu to cater to more dietary restrictions for larger groups, overall nice service, rustic decor a plus and delicious tiramisu!

Very nice menu choices and lovely staff. Highly suggested for lunch time as the starter+main plate+water/wine is €25 providing good quality for the price paid. I would suggest the pasta based plates over the meat or fish dishes as they have a more rich flavor and overall are more satisfactory from a taste perspective. The dinner menu seems a bit pricy for the plates that we tasted during lunch time, however it remains a nice restaurant for the lunch time. UPDATE: Recently came back for a second time during lunch time and it was even better than the first time.
