A very solid local seafood establishment. Went this past weekend with my family locals . I liked the cool local vibe going on. Nothing fancy just welcoming. Nothing over the top with service , just solid. Not a massive menu but what they have they do well. Had crawfish dip appetizer as well as some crab claws , both were very good. Solid gumbo and the shrimp corn chowder hits nicely. Had the steamed shrimp Cole slaw and polish sausage. Was pleasantly surprised by the sausage but would have liked a little more shrimp, probably because it was delicious. Will be going back to try some raw bar items so this rating is subject to change but as of now it's a solid 4. Nothing is close to as good as this without going to Panama City or St. Andrews.
Absolutely amazing food and staff. Omg the flavors are so good. What they sprinkle on top is so tasty. Had shrimp scampi and seafood corn chowder so good. A very cute place. Great atmosphere.
Absolutely horrible! Food was bland and the waitress was the worst. She had a very nasty attitude from the time we walked in. Like maybe she didn't want to wait on us because we are black. and we definitely will not be back or suggest anyone else go to this place! Unless you like bland food and nasty attitudes.
We were in Panama City in a short getaway and were looking for some good seafood. A local, recommended Simply Seafood in Lynn Haven. Now I love little hole in the wall local establishments. And Simply Seafood met that criteria. Small, out of the way building didn 't look like much but we were well pleased. We got there early, around 4:30 pm, so the place looked empty. We were sitting quickly and met promptly by our server. I 'm glad we got there early, because by the time we left, the place was packed and there was a wait for tables. Limited menu, but what they had they did very well. I ordered the steamed shrimp, sliced potatoes and corn on the cob. Shrimp was nicely done and very well seasoned. Cocktail sauce was in the table and nice and tangy. Potatoes were soft and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. Corn was buttery and excellent. My wife, is not a seafood eater, so she ordered the burger. Large, juicy patty, nicely flavored. Excellent burger. Service was great! Atmosphere was fun and had a local vibe. Prices were reasonable and didn 't gouge you like the strip seafood places. Highly recommend if you 're in the area! When you 're visiting a tourist area, always ask the locals where they eat, you won 't go wrong!
