The cafe tato is a Margao institution and is worth it anyway. the first floor is not quite easy as the ground shot, but there is no difference at all, I don't think someone comes for the ambiente. we wanted to have a late lunch. with some of the many snacks, both goan and north indians for which they are famous. we had a lot of bhajis, goan buns, and some crickets, but our favorites on long time were the dahi wada and the shreekhant. these last two were so delicious, we ordered several teller! there were also many fruit drinks to choose from, I had a refreshing watermelon juice, and my partner enjoyed his Custard apple shake. a very satisfying lunch, despite the simple facility. service is sufficient, they are very busy, and individual dishes are served as and when they come from the kitchen. the prices are quite modest, we had some small snack plates, and INR700 pays a small tip.
Only the road of margao comes, has limited parking spaces. there are three flat, two serviervenes and the upper is the fine dining area where not available. prefer the level 1 area that is quiet. The...veg thali is of high quality and fulfills it with the diversity. service is good and you can get a meal in good time to get back on the road
Cafe Tato is located near the main bus stand in Madgaon and is easily accessible by foot. On the ground floor, they have a vegetarian section where we tried the misal pav and masala chai, both of which were delicious. The service was quick and efficient.
