Bonfyre American Grille - Madison

I like the variety of food here, and the friendly service.

Ordered the 32 oz porterhouse for two. Nicely cooked and prepared. Was pleasantly surprised with the meal.

We love Bon Fyre. We moved here from Chicago in 2011 and quickly discovered that there are very very few good restaurants here. Then we went to Bon Fyre (which reminded us very much of LEYE’s Wild Fire. Very very very good! Beautiful space. Good waitstaff. Great food.

The food and service was great . After a 14 hour drive the food hit the spot. Trout was very good.

Food was excellent! Waitress was very good. Not so happy with the hostess though. We arrived very early evening (for our reservation) and hostess took us to an out of the way table in the back. Asked if we could sit at one of the 10 12 empty tables up front in the area around the bar and was told they were “reserved” we also had a reservation so didn’t quite get that. Seems like a request that should have been easy to accommodate. When we left an hour later at least two were still empty. Otherwise it was great and we would go back.
