The food was amazing. Argentinian style, Marcela was spot on. Definally i recomend this place. Dont forget to try dulce de leche! Peace and love and glass of malbec.
Yum! With an extraordinary eclectic mix of delicious dishes, this is definitely the best kept secret in Madrid. The food is absolutely gorgeous! The only problem is deciding what to eat, so many fantastic choices. It is now on my list to visit every time I go to Madrid. See you soon.
We ended up here as it was just around the corner from our apartment. There was no one in the restaurant section and just a couple of people at the bar. They seemed a bit perplexed as to why we might be there but were pleasant and arranged us at a table soon enough. Food we had the guacamole to share (excellent) and then both chose the squid ink pasta with seafood. Very good. Bread was excellent. Wine the house wine was a good match for the food. The service was a touch whimsical but fine on the whole. To explain we were left alone to the point where we just starting to think we had been forgotten. And then the lady who ran front of house appeared. Explained the menu, took our order and then was spirited away. At another time we asked what was in a dish and next thing, the lady was back with her friend and her daughter to all help with the conversation. Pleasant, fun but occasionally disconcerting. Maybe why some other reviewers had a problem? Good value and enjoyable overall.
It's a very good restaurant. The service isn't the fastest in Madrid, but this has an explanation: everything they'll bring to your table it's been just made or cooked. Very good meat, and the best guacamole I've ever tasted in my life (everything in it was balanced). It's not cheap, but the quality of the food is excellent.
