The sausage seemed to have been reheated in the microwave, as it was dry. It had a good flavor, but was lacking moisture. The crepes were also quite dry and required more syrup than I typically use. Overall, it was okay but definitely could have been better. I might just grab food on the go next time.
My friends and I visited this restaurant on a Saturday around 11:00am and were shocked to find that it wasn't busy. However, we quickly understood why. Although the staff were welcoming, the wait for our food was excessively long. When our meals finally arrived, they were disappointing. The bacon seemed to have been heated in a microwave, as we could distinctly hear the process. The bread was minuscule, the eggs were decent, but the sausage was inedible. Overall, the portions were small, the prices were high, and our overall experience was unpleasant. We have no intention of returning. It's a shame, given that the restaurant's decor is quite pleasant.
I visited Tutti Frutti twice, but both times I had an unpleasant experience. The food was too salty and unappetizing during my first visit. On my second visit, I ordered a crepe with a variety of fruits, but there was an overwhelming amount of melon on it. The coffee was strong and bitter. The service was also poor. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
This is a solid breakfast choice in an old shopping center not too far from the main street. a lot of sitting options, efficient server and many choices in the menu. top dishes, standard egg plates and many decadent waffel and pfan cake options. prices are about the same. coras coffee is beautiful a strong.
We arrived at 11:05 for breakfast on Sunday morning. The restaurant was quite full but we managed to get a table right away. Coffees were promptly served by the waitress and we ordered within a few minutes of receiving our menus (around 11:10). From then...on, the service went downhill until we received our crepes at 11:50. The waitress did everything in her power to reassure us that our order would be coming shortly, offering more coffee at each occasion. Both crepes were excellent in presentation and in taste. However, the restaurant's price point is quite high for a regular family restaurant. During our 40 minutes wait, we had ample opportunities to recognize the wait staff efficient and pleasant service, working together for their customers and consistently apologizing for the slow kitchen performance. Their immediate competition is another breakfast/lunch family restaurant in downtown Magog where the price point is similar but the service is much more efficient. Based on this experience, we will visit their competition in the future.
