Contribuisci feedbackAs a paying customers yesterday I wanted to leave a review for the disgusting treatment upon entry to a group of ladies (strangers to me) As I sat at our table enjoying a wine and chat with friends awaiting our food, the ladies were patiently waiting to be served. I noticed the girl at the counter was on the phone not once did she acknowledge thier arrival although taking a call she could 've smiled or even softly assured them she would be with them in a minute. Nothing. Few mins passed and she hung up to say we 're short staffed can I see your green tick NO WELCOMING HELLO OR APOLOGY! this was so rude and it got worse. One of the women arrived earlier and had already checked in showing her check in to the other waitress, but the girl who was on the phone kept saying I don 't care you haven 't showed me check in again so the lady proceeded to do so and again was growled at to hurry and show her the check in tick because she didn 't believe her. The lady softly said to her give me a moment, I 'm getting negative vibes from you she showed her the check in and the girl then said very loudly that is so disrespectful and offensive the group decided to leave and asked her name (which was Zara) the told her they were leaving and she said Good . Once they left we as patrons had to listen to the whinging about the situation. This should never have occurred this way and the cold, rude attitude of Zara was unacceptable. Covid has been tough on EVERYONE and hospitality is lacking in ways of staffing. We all get it, we 're all in this together, there is no excuse for this, we should be treating others with kindness!I will not be returning to this establishment which is a shame as I have regularly visited your business. No one should be treated so poorly Especially when those ladies were patient with the slack service recieved. Not even your nice food and bevos could tempt me to return, along with others who were dining with me
Great range of ciders for tasting at $12 per person. Nice gardens and friendly staff.
I am that woman!!! Thank you . I have never come across such abrupt rudeness and complete lack of care factor in hospitality. We were a bunch of nurses out to enjoy lunch. We hope Zara never needs medical attention at our hospital from us! She won’t get it! How she has a job is beyond me and she is a total disservice to your business . We are local and will never return
Was treated as an inconvenience with no booking and sat at our table for 15 minutes with no one coming near us for any service. Walked out.
It had a lot more charm when it was in the old shed. New venue is nice but it’s lost something which is a bummer as it was such a gem before . I’m sure most like the new but visiting and seeing it’s in a new venue and changed was disappointing.
