Touzai

Lamb with vegetables are delicious but price is a bit much

Lovely atmosphere, wonderful food and great service!

Update: I promised that if I had the chance that I would give Touzai another try. Last night I have that chance and I'm adding a star back. I enjoyed what I ordered much more than last time. I would now recommend this restaurant if you happen to be staying at or near the Crowne Plaza Dublin Airport. The restaurant still had the same great service, preparation, and portions. I have to admit up front that perhaps I ordered something that I just didn't care for....but I did not enjoy my dinner. Granted that this is a sample of one, the next time I'm in Dublin I would give them another shot with another entree as I generally like Asian food. The restaurant was very cool and the service was top notch. Based on my admittedly limited sampling, I can't recommend Touzai....but I can't fault them either as their service was great, the food was well prepared, and the portion was generous.

It is really nice to find a hotel restaurant near the airport where they are not just going through the motions and serving basic bus-and-truck swill, which is the fare of most by the airport dining. They had an Indonesian and Thai section of the menu that had big flavor: Nasi Goering and Thai hot and sour soup that was good and spicy and had some depth with fresh stock. The service was excellent and they made tired travelers feel much better. The manager took care of us near closing and we were most grateful for getting us our food at top speed and top quality! The hotel itself is also an A+ for airport hotels. So why aren't US Crown Plazas blessed with eateries this good?
