Athena Roasted Chicken - Maitland

Went for a late lunch and picked up 1/2 chicken potato and green beans , pita bread . The potato was oily sweet and tasteless, chicken tasted like it was sitting under the lamp for hours. The person working the counter taking orders looked miserable unfriendly. Overpriced and I will not be a returning customer.

I work with wounded warrior project to get veterans out into the community. This veteran has been coming here consistently for the last few months every Friday for the Tilapia special. Last week, Tilapia ran out for coming later than lunch the veteran was so sad but had a gyro instead. Today, they ALSO ran out today. The young girls at the front said they saved the veteran one since he comes every week. That was such a kind heart warming thing they could of done. The food is also always AMAZING. Thank you so much for being so kind making great food. Highly recommend.

The chicken gyro is really good. I highly recommend it, especially for 8 bucks you can't beat that!

Best rotisserie chicken you'll find in Central Florida. It's a small restaurant in a plaza where you order your food at the counter and pick it up when they call your number. There is plenty of seating inside and a nice small seating area outside when the weather is nice. It's quick and delicious. They've been there over 30 yrs and I've been going for a long time. The chicken, red beans and potatoes are the best. You won't regret trying this place and I bet you'll come back again and again. Parking: It's a plaza parking lot. Lots of parking, but usually pretty full.
