Hungry Hippo - Makati

Friendly staff, efficient service, free wlan and good food.

It was my first time to eat in hungry hippo. I was very disappointed. her premium berry does not look with small pattys and moderate bungalows appetit. this burger costs php I can get a burger better than that for php I never go back.

There was a time when Hungry Hippo had an aggressive franchising plan which saw branches popping up in BF Homes, Parañaque and as far as Batangas City. They had the burger game going since with the Bacon Cheeseburger as their signature dish. Visited one quiet Saturday afternoon before a show at the nearby Yuchengco Museum, we practically had the place all to our own. The nice front staff, greeted us with a sincere smile and was very accomodating. Making sound recommendation and upgrades on our meals. Ordered a cheeseburger and a clubhouse sandwich. I remember a time when my co-workers and I would dine here almost every day. They have such great selection of affordable, good food. My definite favorite is their wild wings and fried chicken. They also have a discount card which greatly benefits frequent diners like us. I miss this place!

If you’re into burgers, Hungry Hippo is is for you. Looking at one, you’ll feel full already It is really affordable. So much so that you can have it every single day. What I like about it is the iced tea. It adds contrast to whatever it is that you’re eating “kontra umay” Also, they serve your food in room temperature. So if you’re after that steamin’ hot burger, don’t expect that this one has it The staff are really friendly and funny as well. We shared some jokes. Ambiance is great. The place is too small though.
