Although not a restaurant, tapa size dishes are now available 6 days a week with everything from homemade soups and pastas to bangers and mash at €2 to a miniroast on Sundays for €3 (big it up for €5! Closed on Mondays, it is still essentially a bar who has occasional special days. New Year and St George's Day were celebrated with food, music and song. As a previous reviewer said a really good place to get advice and information about the area. The owners Rose and Sue are British, but speak fluent Spanish having lived in Spain for over 50 years between them. A recent addition Andrea, brings the German language into play, and with Ray masterminding the small, but newly fitted kitchen you can't go wrong. Give it a try the friendly welcome and tasty food, with occasional quizzes and musical entertainment make this a good value place to visit.
Simon the owner is so lovely and welcoming. Great laugh with the regulars, what a friendly bar, I would highly recommend. Drinks are really reasonable priced.
Lovely atmosphere, great service. Good food. Helpful staff, Simon Jan and Ria couldn't do more. Looking forward to a return visit..Highly recommend
Went in several times for drinks over a four day lads golfing break. Well worth a visit, Massive vodka's reasonably priced. Small menu, we had toasties once for a snack which were good.
The Dog House is a local neighborhood bar catering for expats. If you want local knowledge then I would recommend going here. They also periodically have BBQs which bring together the local community. It's not flash but a solid place.
