Tomoõ Steak X Grill - Malang

Beautiful steak, large part and they cooked it well

We decided to have steak for dinner. Or rather, I decided. And the family did like this place quite a lot. It is in the courtyard in a hip area of Malang. The restaurant as such is pretty small and basic in these days, but seem to have an upstairs floor for busier times. The menu offers a decent choice of different steaks, with different marbleling. The choice of sides is rather limited but offers the classics: fries and mashed potatoes. They also have a grill set, which let's you bbq your own food as you wish. A little along the lines of Korean restaurants. I have to say: the fillet steak was great. The Sirloin could have been better. But that's where the BBQ comes in: you can chop up the steak and cook it any way you like. The fries could have been hotter, but the mash was lovely. Price wise it is reasonable.

That was the best bbq teoppoki I tasted in the city! At first I hesitated to come here because I thought it was another expensive place with lousy Fusion menu, but I was wrong! The price is really affordable, especially when you come with big party and share the food. Love the grill! The pan was not sticky and easy to use, the meats are plentiful. The underside could be that the pack is not separated from the meat. You could add more rice cake in tteoppoki tho, as I think the fish balls are much too many. The rice cakes are soft and not to chew, love it so much!

All the food provided here are great! Tasty and in affordable prices. The place is comfortable but the restroom is terrible. Praying room is provided. Parking for motorcycle is available and spacious enough. But not too wide for cars. It is advisable to make reservation first before coming on Saturdays as it will be crowded and probably has waiting liats. Overall, I love this place! Tersedia juga paketan utk berdua atau ber 4.
