Food came out about 10-15 mins after ordering. I got the dry noodles with the chicken and a fried egg. Fried egg is a MUST. Oh my goodness! The Chicken skin was so crispy and meat was juicy. Half a chicken per order. I love garlic! My husband and son order it with the rice. My dry noodles were the perfect texture and very flavorful. They give you knife to cut the chicken, but I just picked it up and used my hands. It's finger licking good lol! Must try when in the neighborhood.
I see the vision, but the execution was lackluster. As a long time fan and patron of the original restaurant my bar may be higher. Ordered the rice dish and the egg noodle dish. The rice was overcooked and clumpy. Aside from its yellow color there wasn’t much to make it stand out. The egg noodles oscillated between too soggy and too hard (I felt like Goldilocks). The salad was nice but was tiny. As for the chicken it had good flavor, was moist. The coffee was a bit too sweet for my liking. Wait time was 30-40 minutes for the food. Thought $18 was a little steep for the offering but it is Seattle. I’d rather just go across the parking lot for pho.
Absolutely PHENOMENAL! Easily one of the best meals I've ever had. The menu is small so the focus is all on what they have and you can certainly tell because the quality shines here! The chicken was juicy and flavorful. The chrysanthemum salad was lovely. Even the broth for the noodles was delicious. It was plenty of food, filled up, satisfied, and with leftovers for $18!? The pandan tea was also great though I wish it was a little larger. Still I can't complain because every single thing about this meal was amazing. I will make a point to come here every time I'm in Seattle and I will recommend it to everyone.
The Boat restaurant in Seattle offers Vietnamese cuisine. Parking can be a challenge due to the restaurant's small size on a boat, but the staff, despite being busy, are kind and patient. I particularly enjoyed the chicken with rice, salad, and the delicious pho soup. While the pandan tea was just okay for me, it's worth a try! Give it a shot!
This spot is so good. Great flavor, just know when you walk in and it's busy you need to put your name on the list using the little iPad .
